HTTPoetics was a Winter 2026 class from the School for Poetic Computation (SFPC).  The description for the class explored the classic construction of websites with HTML, CSS, and Javascript to reimagine what a website can be outside of the corporate controlled social media and other sites. We were encouraged to thin about what a website can be, yes a place to show information, but what kind of information and how. Is a website a shelf? meant to show things off? Is it a well that says one thing and then just goes out into the æther? Every week made small websites that approached the internet in different ways to use it as a place for poetry.
